Working together for better health and care – introducing integrated care systems campaign
Please note: this campaign is intended for staff in integrated care systems (ICSs) within health, local government, social care providers and the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector.
A campaign has been launched called ‘working together for better heath and care’ to introduce ICSs.
The campaign toolkit aims to support communication leads in ICSs, to run local campaigns as they moved onto a statutory footing on 1 July 2022.
This suite of communication materials will help staff across systems – in the NHS, local authorities, social care providers and voluntary, community and social enterprise sector build knowledge of ICSs and their role, as they transition towards working in the new statutory structures.
You can access the campaign toolkit by simply registering to join the Future NHS workspace – engagement and communications for health and care systems (log in required).
The Health and Care Act 2022 aims to develop a more seamless health and care service and improve population health, building on several years of practical experience and innovation across the health and care system.
It ensures that every part of England is covered by an ICS, bringing together NHS, local government, social care providers, charities, and voluntary, community and social enterprise partners to jointly plan and provide health and care services based on the needs of the people in their areas.
The aim of the campaign is to provide assets that can be used to showcase how integrated care is being delivered in different areas.
If you would like to share your case studies with us for publication on the website please use the case study template provided in the communication toolkit and e-mail to england.stcomms@nhs.net
