Draw down funding for integrated care systems (ICSs)

Note: Please refer to your local ICS for more information on this as funding rules may have changed.

There will be draw down funding available on a locally agreed basis to support individual interventions that will potentially lead to an avoidance of admission.

ICSs will be able to request additional funding (up to a value of £5,000) where this funding will avoid an admission by enabling local providers to put in place additional support over an agreed interim period. This request will be made by the CETR chair via the ICS.

ICSs will be able to request additional funding (up to a value of £5,000) through a valid post-admission CETR held within five working days of admission, where that funding would ensure a discharge within an agreed period equivalent to an avoided admission. This request will be made by the CETR chair via the ICS.

Please contact your local ICS for more information.
