London GP procurements
Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) are responsible for ensuring GP services are available to people who live within the CCG geographical areas. They do this by ‘commissioning’ GP practices, i.e. contracting with GPs and other health care professionals to provide the services through GP practices. The contracts under which 16 GP practices across London provide services are coming to an end and so the CCGs need to re-commission these practices.
As part of the process, the CCGs have sought the views of patients and other stakeholders on the current arrangements and how the re- commissioning proposals might impact them. Summaries of the results of these consultations, for each of the GP practices being re-commissioned are provided in the reports below:
