The introduction of the MMRV vaccine
The introduction of a routine measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV) vaccination programme for children at one year and at 18 months, with a catch-up for children aged up to 6 years in England.
Patient Group Direction
A Patient Group Direction (PGD) provides a legal framework that allows some registered health professionals to supply and/or administer specified medicines to a pre-defined group of patients, without them having to see a prescriber. Supplying and/or administering medicines under PGDs should be reserved for situations in which this offers an advantage for patient care, without compromising patient safety.
This template is still required to be signed off within each trust prior to being used.
