Compassion in Practice – Quality Assurance Tool
The Compassion in Practice Quality Assurance tool was developed by Professor Laura Serrant and Dr Virginia Minogue to help guide the review of the reports and resources developed from Compassion in Practice programme activities. It provides a useful framework and includes a quality rating scale for commissioners to assess the quality of reports produced from commissioned programmes. It could proactively be used by commissioners to help guide planning of work programmes.
“Open and Honest Care: Driving Improvement” programme
“Open and Honest Care: Driving Improvement” programme encourages organisations to publish safety, experience and improvement data together in the one report. The overall aim being to improve practice, patient and staff experience and create a culture of safe compassionate care that staff and organisations can be proud of. The Open and Honest Care programme was created as part of Action Area three of Compassion in Practice.
