The simple National Variation Agreement template is used to effect the NHS Standard Contract National Variation for 2016-17, in accordance with Option 1 in the Guidance on National Variations to existing 2013/14, 2014/15 and 2015/16 full length contracts and 2016/17 shorter-form contracts. It is relevant to commissioners and providers who are parties to an existing commissioning contract the duration of which extends beyond 31 March 2016.
