Our new digital services and support are empowering people to take control of their health and care through secure online access to clinicians, personalised health information, digital tools and advice that helps them to better manage their conditions.
We’re providing new health websites, apps and wifi access for the public, alongside guidance and standards that help developers design, and organisations offer, the best digital tools. We are also supporting people who lack the confidence and skills to use digital health services and information through the Widening Digital Participation programme.
As a result, the NHS will provide modern care and services that are convenient for patients, efficient for the NHS and which get people the right care for them as quickly as possible. See our latest plans.
