West Midlands Clinical Network (WMCN) are working closely with Diabetes UK, recently a foot event was held to try and understand in more details why amputations seem to be on the increase and more associated with ‘Foot care’ issues.

There is a programme that can be followed in relation to foot treatment in particular: NICE guidelines should always be followed by each trust.
