• All GPs are required to have an annual appraisal in line with the National Medical Appraisal Policy Medical Appraisal Policy
• Responsible Officer Appraisal Network (ROAN) – Information sheets and useful guidance ROAN sheets
• Working less than 40 sessions per year, you will need to demonstrate how you are
  • keeping up to date and fit to practice

• Exemption from Appraisal can be for a number of reasons;

  If you don’t need an appraisal this year – complete and return an exemption form

• If you can’t agree a mutual date to meet and need to have a technology assisted appraisal apply on the Technology Assisted Appraisal Form – TAAR
