Are you leading change and adding value as an individual, team or organisation? If so, we would be delighted to hear from you.
We are collecting case studies, as best practice examples, to showcase work that is demonstrating how Leading Change, Adding Value; a framework for nursing, midwifery and care staff is being put into practice to reduce unwarranted variation.
A quick example of describing unwarranted variation is by looking at why two wards have differences in the number of patient falls. The wards may be the same size, have the same equipment and level of staff expertise but one ward has a higher rate of falls than the other. The difference is unwarranted variation and provides an opportunity for all nursing, midwifery and care staff to look into why these differences occur and lead change to improve outcomes, or reduce the number of falls in this example.
We are looking for a variety of examples from small scale change, individuals making everyday changes that improve the lives of those they care for through to those on a larger scale. We are passionate about shared learning and celebrating those delivering Leading Change, Adding Value. So whether your work is in progress or has been completed, we would very much value your contribution.
