Acknowledgements

This good practice guide was developed before the COVID-19 pandemic and we acknowledge that the challenges and opportunities that adapted ways of working will bring for involving and supporting partners and other family members. Separate NHS England and Improvement coronavirus guidance relating to mental health services is available.

We highly value having worked with Mark Williams throughout this process, benefiting from his extensive experience in fathers’ mental health and knowledge of third sector organisations nationally.

We acknowledge funding from NHS England and Improvement and oversight in developing this guide, provided by Ellen McGale, Becki Hemming, Jo Black, Giles Berrisford and Amelia Mosley.

We recognise all those who have contributed to the practice examples and those who completed the survey.

We acknowledge too Jasmine Siew, Niamh Doody and Emily Perry who provided support with the rapid reviews of evidence that informed the development of this guide.
