Council members
“The clinical senate has broadened my perspective of the NHS beyond my own organisation and area of expertise. It provides a unique opportunity to meet and share experiences with colleagues from different sectors. The environment is both informal and professional, creating a space for networking and learning about the wider healthcare landscape”.
“I appreciate the diversity in representation in the senate – it allows for different perspectives that ultimately aim to improve patient care”.
“Wholly positive, equitable experience”.
NHS trust senior leaders
“Being involved with the Senates is not a huge time commitment. You take away things that can add value in your own organisation. You bring back new expertise and an understanding of what’s going on in other places that is quite simply invaluable”.
Leadership fellows
‘’I feel I have developed and grown in confidence with…understanding of the wider context of the NHS and the different roles within the NHS…working independently, self-managing my own time… I have really appreciated this freedom as I am aware this autonomy is an important quality for a leader”.
