Vicki Wagstaff – L&SC Cardiac Clinical Network Programme Manager
Vicki is the Clinical Network Manager for the Lancashire and South Cumbria Cardiac Network. Working on a number of different projects, some of her main focus areas are Public Education, Patient Engagement, Communications, CVD Prevention, Heart Failure and Cardiac Prehab/Rehab.
Vicki has worked at NHSE in the North West Coast Clinical Network for 8 years, starting in the Cancer Network as an NSSG coordinator. Then taking a secondment into the End of Life network, and a final move into the Mental Health Network for the last 3 years. When the Cardiac Network came on board in August 2021, it felt like the right time to move and a fantastic opportunity to really make a difference to patients experiences, especially following such a turbulent 18 months due to Covid-19. Using the wealth of knowledge gained throughout her time in the Mental Health Network, she brings a ‘whole person’ approach to patient care.
Outside of work, Vicki enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors as much as possible with her dog, watching her child play football, supporting Preston North End and playing golf (pretty badly!)
