The Looked After Children’s Clinical Reference Group (LAC-CRG) is a sub-group of the National Safeguarding Steering Group (NSSG).

The group has representation from across all of the NHS regions and key partner groups such as Royal College of Nursing, Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, National Network of Designated Health professionals and Coram Baaf.

Our aim is to continually look to strengthen the health commissioning and service provision arrangements through a contextual safeguarding lens for children and young people who are Looked After through this supportive and facilitative professionals forum
