NHS England (Kent and Medway) has published the following report which summarises the findings of an NHS investigation into the actions of Dr Barend Delport, who was sentenced to imprisonment in September 2013 having been found guilty of committing serious crimes against some of his patients. The report details actions taken by the NHS as a result of this particular incident in order to protect patients.
