NHS England investigation into an unofficial call-handling project at South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust: November 2015

On 31 March 2015, NHS England South convened a Risk Summit meeting to discuss an unofficial call-handling project which South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust ran from December 2014 until February 2015.

On behalf of members of a Risk Summit held on 31 March 2015, NHS England South undertook an investigation into the project and a report was accepted at a Risk Summit meeting on 16 September 2015.

A follow-on report, containing the same recommendations as the initial report, yet also reflecting actions taken, progress made and also the undertakings required by Monitor, was developed for discussion at the multi-agency Regional Quality Surveillance Group held on Tuesday 3 November 2015.
