NHS RightCare

NHS England and NHS RightCare want to make sure that people everywhere get the right care, in the right place at the right time.

We have been working together to look at how we can make it easier for people with a learning disability to take care of their diabetes. We have been looking at what works, what doesn’t and what could be better.

Information for healthcare staff and people with a learning disability will be ready soon on the NHS RightCare pages.

Over the next few months we will be looking at how we can make things easier for people with a learning disability who find it hard to swallow, eat or drink (dysphagia), or epilepsy, or heart disease.
