The detailed National Variation Agreement template (shorter-form contracts) is used to effect the NHS Standard Contract National Variation for 2017-19, in accordance with Option 3 in the Guidance on National Variations to existing 2014/15, 2015/16 and 2016/17 full length contracts and 2016/17 shorter-form contracts.
