This document outlines findings from work that was undertaken by pilot sites to test a currency model that was developed for wheelchair services by Deloitte. The project was co-ordinated and managed for NHS England by North East London CSU.

Six new requirements for hospitals were introduced in the 2016/17 NHS Standard Contract to clarify the expectations across the hospital and general practice interface and reduce avoidable extra workload for GPs and help release time.
