Roving vaccinators and a live dashboard boost vaccinations in Cambridge
Cambridge University Hospitals achieved its highest staff vaccination rate in 4 years.
11,458 staff members were protected against flu (this includes non-substantive staff) during the 2025 to 2026 flu season. A vaccination rate of 66% was achieved for substantive staff– its highest uptake in 4 years.
A strong campaign identity, a flexible content plan, and a constant stream of stories over 11 weeks kept the campaign visible alongside competing winter communications.
And the trust made jabs easier to access: roving vaccinators were deployed on wards, flu champions were used where uptake dipped, M&S vouchers rewarded progress at major milestones, and a live dashboard allowed teams to track their progress.
