North of England Commissioning Support (NECS) on behalf of NHS England are undertaking a reconciliation of pension contributions for Locum GP’s for the McCloud remedy period (2015/16 to 2021/22).

If the reconciliation identifies any net overpayment or underpayment during the 7 years (due to incorrect tier rates being used), NECS are reaching out to the GP to arrange a refund or to request a payment. NECS will be using the following email address to contact GPs – england.pensionrecords@nhs.net.

If an overpayment is identified a refund will be due and you will be asked to provide your bank details, so the refund can be deposited into your bank account.  You will also be asked to provide your SD number as this is a unique identifier.

If an underpayment is identified, you will be requested to make payment direct into the NHSE Bank Account, with full details of how to do this provided in the email.
