NHS Urgent Medicine Supply Advanced Service (NUMSAS)

The NUMSAS service, initially established early 2019, has evaluated well and is now fully integrated into the Community Pharmacist Consultation Service, which launched across England on 29 October 2019.

NUMSAS managed referrals from NHS 111 to community pharmacy, when a patient needed urgent access to a medicine or appliance they had been previously prescribed
