CAHPO awards 2021 – frequently asked questions

The CAHPO Awards 2021 instruction pack has a lot of information to guide you in submitting your application. We also had a CAHPO Awards launch webinar on the 27 of May 2021 with presentation from previous award winners on how to submit a successful nomination.

There are 2 options of submitting nominations this year. You can either use the ‘written nomination submission template’ or the ‘audio/slides nomination submission template’. The instructions slide pack explains how.

The awards are open to AHPs working in organisations funded by the NHS (including private providers contracted to provide NHS services) or local authorities (inc. social care, housing, education, public health, criminal justice, etc).

Yes, provided the nomination relates to practice or innovation culminating in 2020/21.

Yes, you should. The form has prompts to include your information if you are nominating someone else. However, we will not disclose that you have nominated that person/service to the nominee. This will remain anonymous unless you decide to disclose this information to them yourself.

No, only winning submissions will be published.

Yes you can submit nominations under 2 categories, but we advise that you consider the criteria for the different categories and ensure you have tailored your entries accordingly.
