Maternity Safety Support Programme

We are reviewing and updating these webpages to reflect the current work of the maternity and neonatal programme.

The national Maternity Safety Support Programme (MSSP), provided to maternity services, was launched in September 2017. Maternity services are formally entered onto the programme if they are rated requires improvement or inadequate in the well led and/or the safe domains by the Care Quality Commission.
