In this film, the Maternity ward in the Royal Albert Edward Infirmary set out how they have made it easier for women to feedback on their experiences of the delivery suite and maternity ward. The patient engagement manager introduces some of his strategies for engaging staff with FFT feedback, and maternity staff show how they share feedback with patients. Initiatives that have been introduced following FFT feedback include soft closing bins to make the environment quieter at night, having snacks on the ward for in between meal times, and facilitating women’s partners or birth support people to stay over during the night.
