Dr Kat Hall
Acting Pharmacy Dean, Workforce, Training and Education, NHS England South East

Dr Kat Hall leads pharmacy workforce education and training for NHS England South East as Acting Pharmacy Dean, overseeing the development of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians across the region. A pharmacist by background with experience spanning clinical practice and academia, she brings frontline insight to regional strategy — ensuring pharmacy training aligns with modern healthcare needs and the ambitions of the 10 Year Health Plan.
Her team oversees the national Foundation Trainee Pharmacist programme and plays a central role in securing the region’s future pharmacy workforce pipeline. Kat believes high-quality education and training is inseparable from safe, effective, and compassionate patient care: investing in tomorrow’s pharmacists means better outcomes for patients today.
Having been a patient herself and seen family and friends receive NHS care, Kat’s commitment is both professional and personal:.
“I have seen first-hand the power that compassionate care and collaborative teamworking can have on individual patients and their families.”
