This site contains the monthly Ambulance Quality Indicators (AQI) Statistical Notes and spreadsheets. The AQI comprise the Systems Indicators (AmbSYS) and the Clinical Outcomes (AmbCO). Data are split by month and by each of the eleven Ambulance Services in England.

Due to the coronavirus illness (COVID-19) and the need to release capacity across the NHS to support the response, we paused the collection and publication of AmbCO in April 2020, and restarted it in July. We therefore published December 2019 data in August 2020, rather than May 2020, and later in 2020-21, we will publish data for subsequent months of 2019-20. Other paused collections are listed at www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/covid-19-and-the-production-of-statistics.
